Dear Ms. Chen:

By letter dated November 7, 2022 [1], NRC staff documented Requests for Additional Information (RAI Batch 4) to support review of HI-STORM 100 amendment request 1014-16. On January 4, 2023 [2], Holtec submitted the responses to Batch 4 of the RAIs which included the response to RAI 3-3. On March 2, 2023, the NRC asked for some clarification on Holtecs response to RAI 3-3 in a clarification call between the NRC and Holtec [3]. This letter provides an updated response to RAI 3-3 based on that clarification call.

The updated responses to Batch 4 (RAI 3-3) are provided in Attachment 1, with Attachment 2 Document ID 5014960 Page 1 of 2
