By letter dated March 23, 2017, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an application for renewal of License No. SNM-2509 for the Trojan Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). PGE was informed that the application was accepted for technical review on May 31, 2017. In an April 23, 2018 letter :from Christopher T. Markley to Bradley Y. Jenkins, the NRC requested additional information from PGE to support technical review of the license renewal application. This letter is provided in reply to the request for additional information (RAI).

This letter includes the following items:

  • , License Renewal Application Mark-up This enclosure provides a colored text and strikeout version of PGE's March 23, 2017 application for renewal of License No. SNM-2509 showing the changes (additions and deletions) that have been made to the application in response to the NRC RAis, and additional changes identified by PGE to make corrections and clarifications.
  • , Clean version of the License Renewal Application Revision This enclosure provides a clean copy (with sidebars to indicate changes) of the updated version of PGE's application for renewal of License No. SNM-2509.

These tables were substantially modified to more completely address aging management issues associated with the Trojan ISFSI Transfer Station. These drawings are not proprietary.
