Supplemental Information regarding References from the ISP Environmental Report (ER) Chapter 3, Description of the Affected Environment. Docket 72-1050 CAC/EPID 001028/L-2017-NEW-0002 Reference 1

WCS Consolidated Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility Environmental Report, Revision 2.

Interim Storage Partners LLC (ISP) hereby submits the following supplemental information regarding ISP Environmental Report (ER) Chapter 3, Description of the Affected Environment (Reference [1]). Section 3.5.16 of the ER lists several prior ecological studies of the proposed WCS CISF area and nearby areas that are referenced or described in ER Section 3.5. ISP is hereby providing copies of, or the applicable ADAMS accession number for the studies listed in ER Section 3.5.16.

Table 1 provides a list of the ecological studies listed in ER Section 3.5.16 and the cross reference to the Enclosure or ADAMS accession number for each study.

The 1997 ecological assessment report (Enclosure 1) included in the Waste Control Specialists Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) license application references five sites that were evaluated. The results of the assessment for all five sites are included within the report, however, the raw data for plant cover for site 5, which is located north of the CISF, is not included in the report nor was it included within the Waste Control Specialists 2007 LLRW license application. ISP joint venture member Waste Control Specialists has reached out to the author of the report and due to the age of the report the data cannot be located. The results included within the report are thorough and provide all information needed for the reader to draw a clear conclusion regarding vegetation for each site without the raw data.
