By {{letter dated|date=February 15, 2018|text=letter dated February 15, 2018}}, as supplemented June 14, 2018, and August 30, 2018, TN Americas LLC (TN) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an application for Certificate of Compliance No. 1042, Amendment No. 1, to the NUHOMS EOS System, pursuant to the requirements of Part 72 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
The staff has determined that further information is needed to complete its technical review.
The request for additional information (RAI) will be issued in two parts. The initial part of the RAI is attached in two enclosures (proprietary RAIs and non-proprietary RAIs). Your response should be provided within 60 days of the date of this letter. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please notify us in writing, at least one week in advance, of your new submittal date and the reasons for the delay. The NRC staff will then assess the impact on the current schedule to finalize the safety evaluation report and notify you of a revised schedule.
Upon removal of Enclosure 2 this document is Non-sensitive.
