Kris,

You are correct the only site that utilizes the Lid assembly with concrete is the MPC-LACBWR cask system. The drawing cited in response M-1 is incorrect. The drawing they cited (630045-063) is the design drawing.

The correct License drawing is 630045-863, Lid Assembly, Vertical Concrete Cask (VCC), MPC-LACBWR as cited in response M-2.

Please let me know if you would like me to resubmit the proprietary responses or submit a letter discussing the error I can do either.

Hi Heath,

Im working on finalizing the SER for the NAC-MPC Amd. 9 (and Revisions to Amds. 6/7/8) to get it ready for concurrence review. I am checking some references and needed to check with you on something. In the May 14, 2024, RAI response (ML24135A325), NAC noted, The only NAC-MPC system with a concrete lid is that of the MPC-LACBWR system.

The lid geometry is documented in licensing drawing 630045-063.

I couldnt find drawing number 630045-063 in the FSAR, and so I wanted to check with you to see if this drawing number reference is in error? Or if not, could you point me to where this drawing is in the FSAR?
