Dear Heath Baldner:

By letter dated October 10, 2023, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML23283A248), NAC International (NAC) submitted an application requesting revision No. 1 to Amendment Nos. 5 to 9 and Amendment No. 10, revision No. 0 of Certificate of Compliance No. 1015 for the Model No. NAC-UMS storage system. In a letter dated, February 16, 2024, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) acknowledged acceptance of your application for a detailed technical review and provided a proposed schedule for the NRC review (ML24039A200).

In connection with the NRC staffs technical review, we need the information identified in the enclosed request for additional information (RAI) for the NAC-UMS. We request that you provide this information by July 1, 2024. Inform us at your earliest convenience, but no later than June 14, 2024, if you are not able to provide the information by that date. To assist us in rescheduling your review, you should include a new proposed submittal date and the reasons for the delay. Provided the RAI responses are adequate and received in the timeframe noted above, NRC expects to complete the technical reviews for the NAC-UMS in November 2024.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
