Dear Ms. Chen:

On a call February 28th, 2023, Holtec and the NRC discussed further clarification questions the NRC had on Amendment 7. The clarification questions were included as an attachment to the Conversation Record [1]. Holtec established plans to respond to the clarification questions by April 11th, 2024 [2]. A subsequent follow-up and check-in call occurred between Holtec and the NRC on March 20th, 2024 [3]. This letter contains the additional clarifications Holtec is submitting to the NRC for their review of Amendment 7.

contains Holtecs responses to the clarification questions. Attachment 2 is a proprietary copy of the responses. Changes to the FSAR resulting from the additional clarifications are included in Attachments 3 and 4 for both proprietary and non-proprietary versions, respectively. Since some attachments to this letter contain Holtec proprietary information, an affidavit requesting this information be withheld in accordance with 10CFR2.390 is included as Attachment 10.
