Dear Mr. Mayer:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has prepared an audit plan for a site visit of the proposed location of the HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility. The enclosed audit plan describes the scope and purpose of the audit, identifies the audit team, and describes the documents required by the NRC staff.

The site audit will take place on June 18-19, 2019, at the proposed location of the HI-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility in Lea County, NM.
