Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-412/87-34 This forwards the enclosed NRC. contractor report of a comparison of draft Beaver Valley Power Station Unit 2 Technical Specification provisions and the Unit 2-f acili ty.- The preliminary results of the comparison were discussed with Mr. Swiderski and other members of your staff on April 10, 198 Numerous. inconsistencies and errors of.a minor nature were noted in comparing the Technical Specifications, the FSAR and licensee procedures, drawings'and, and as-built' field conditions. The source of most of the discrepancies appears to be due l to the_ ongoing nature and status of your. efforts which required the use of an early draft of the Technical Specifications and incomplete test information. In addition, we recognize'that your procedures were still under development'and required final-ized plant data.in several cases for completion. Nonetheless, to assure that th discrepancies noted in this report have been addressed, we request that you provide a written response within 30 days describing how the findings-in the following detail sections of the enclosed report have been resolved: Sections 2.1.a, b, c,
