A routine safety inspection of your emergency preparedness pwgcuu was
conducted by Mr. C. Gordon of this office and other members of an NRC team on
May 31- June 2,1989, at your Beaver Valley Ptwer Station, Units 1 & 2,
Shippingport, Funnsylvania. Discussions of our findings were held by Mr.
Gordon with you and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection are described in the lac Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records,
-interviews with personnel, and observations made by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
