A routiae unannounced radiological controls inspection was conducted by

Mr. P. O'Connell ~at the Beaver Valley Power Station on June 4 to 8 1990. Areas

reviewed during-the inspection included action on previous inspection findings,

audits and appraisals and internal and external exposure controls. The findings

of the inspection were discussed with Mr.

S', Lacey and other members of <our

staff on June 8, 1990.

Within the scope of this inspection no apparent violations were identifiti.

The ins ector noted improvement in lhe quality of audits and ap>raisals of the

radiol

ical controls program. The inspector also noted that tie audits an:i

The inspector's review indicated that your staff took immediate actions to
