BEAVER VALLEY UNIT 2 - PLANT SAFETY MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION (PSMS V&V) (TAC 64577)

By letter dated July 7,1989, you provided a response to the open items identified in our safety evaluation (SE) dated May 10, 1989. We have evaluated' your response and found it acceptable. The enclosed supplemental SE provides details.

The approved PSMS V&V is to be fully implemented before startup from the second refueling outage, in accordance with license condition 2.C.(7). This letter, together with the letter dated May 10, 1989, convey our approval. Upon full implementation, please submit a statement to that effect.

This completes all our efforts in this matter.
