Dear Ms. Chen:

By letter dated December 7, 2022 [1], the NRC staff sent Requests for Additional Information (Part 4) to support review of Amendment 7 for the HI-STORM FW Certificate of Compliance No.

1032. Holtecs responses to the NRC staff RAIs Part 1 are in the attachments to this letter.

The responses to the RAIs are provided in Attachment 1, with Attachment 2 being a non-proprietary copy. The changes to the proposed CoC Appendix A and Appendix B as a result of the RAIs are provided in Attachments 3 and 4. Changes to the FSAR as a result of the RSIs are included in Attachments 5 and 6 for both proprietary and non-proprietary versions, respectively.

All proposed changes in Attachments 3 through 6 based on the RAI responses are highlighted in yellow to facilitate the NRC staffs review. Attachment 7 contains the revised licensing drawings supporting the RAI responses. Attachments 8 and 9 contain proprietary documents to support the RAI responses.
