Dear Ms. Chen:

On a call December 13th, 2023, Holtec and the NRC discussed further clarification questions the NRC had on Amendment 7. The clarification questions were included as a proprietary attachment to the Conversation Record [1]. Subsequent follow-up and check-in calls occurred between Holtec and the NRC on January 10th, January 26th, February 8th, 2024. This letter contains the additional clarifications Holtec is submitting to the NRC for their review of Amendment 7.

contains Holtecs responses to the clarification questions. Changes to the FSAR resulting from the additional clarifications are included in Attachments 2 and 3 for both proprietary and non-proprietary versions, respectively. All proposed changes in Attachments 2 and 3 based on the RAI response clarifications are highlighted in blue to facilitate the NRC staffs review. contains a proprietary supporting document.

Since some attachments to this letter contain Holtec proprietary information, an affidavit requesting this information be withheld in accordance with 10CFR2.390 is included as Attachment 5.
