Dear Ms. Chen:

By letter dated March 6, 2020 [1], NRC staff requested additional information (RAIs) needed to complete their detailed technical review of HI-STORM 100 Amendment 15 to the Certificate of Compliance No. 1014.

Attachments 1 and 2 to this letter contains the responses to all of the RAIs except RAI 3-1, 3-6 and 4-9, in proprietary and non-proprietary versions. Attachment 3 contains the proposed changes to the CoC not related to the RAIs, as previously discussed. Attachments 4, 5 and 13 contain changes to the CoC Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix A, respectively. Attachments 6 and 7 contain the proposed FSAR changed pages in proprietary and non-proprietary versions. Both the CoC and the FSAR utilize track changes and yellow highlighting to identify the changes specific to these RAI responses, to differentiate them from track changes used for the original submittal and RSI response. Attachments 8 through 11 contain proprietary technical information required to support the responses. Attachment 12 contains an affidavit prepared in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 requesting that the proprietary attachments be withheld from public disclosure.
