Chen (NRC) to D. Elisio (Holtec) dated August 25, 2021.

Dear Ms. Chen:

By letter dated August 25, 2021 [1], the NRC staff requested that additional technical information be provided in order for the staff to begin the technical review of Amendment 7 for the HI-STORM FW Certificate of Compliance No. 1032 and requested that Holtec provide this information by September 25, 2021.

In order to provide quality responses to the staffs questions and to ensure adequate time to complete any additional analyses that may need to be completed to support these responses, Holtec plans to submit responses by October 15, 2021.

Holtec requests that NRC review of this Amendment 7 proceed according to the standard approximately 2-year review cycle such that the amendment will be effective for clients starting in the summer of 2023.
