SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-321/88-09 AND 50-366/88-09 Thank you for your response of April 28, 1988, to our Notice of Violation issued on March 29, 1988, concerning activities conducted at your Hatch facility. We have evaluated your response to Violation A (No. 88-09-01) and have found it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. We will examine the implementation of your actions to correct Violation A during future inspection With respect to Violation B (No. 88-09-03), we have 2;ncluded, for the reasons presented in the enclosure to this letter, that the violation occurred as stated in the Notice of Violatio Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.201(a),
please submit to this office within 30 days of the date of this . letter a written statement that, for Violation 2, describes the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved, the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations, and the date when full compliance will be achieve Regarding Violation C (No. 88-09-05), which you denied, we have forwarded the issue to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for additional review. The l
results of our analysis will be furnished to you at a later dat The response directed by this letter is not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget issued under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-51 .
