NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-321/98-05 AND
50-366/98-05
Dear Mr. Sumner:
On September 19,1998, the NRC completed an inspection at your Hatch 1 and 2 reactor
,
facilities. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the seven week period covered by this inspection report, your conduct of activities at the
.
Hatch facility was generally characterized by safety-conscious operation, sound engineering
!
and maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls.
The enclosed inspection Report identifies activities that violate NRC requirements that will not
,
be subject to enforcement action because the licensee's efforts in correcting the violations meet
j
the criteria specified in NUREG - 1600, Enforcement Policy,
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
