The Nuclear Regulatory Ccmmission's Performance Indicator Program 3
provides eight performance indicators for use by NRC senior l
managers to monitor trends in the overall performance of individual nuclear power plants. These indicators provide an additional view I
of operational performance to supplement that obtained through other NRC programs. The purpose of this letter is to transmit to you the NRC performance indicators for Edwin I.
Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units JL and 2 for the first quarter of 1990.
I have also included Announcement No. 200 on the use of performance Indicators and the definitions of the indicators, which are contained in each issue of the report.
You will routinnly be sent a copy of future quarterly performance indicators for the Hatch and Vogtle units.
