A line break f rom the fuel oil storage tank to the diesel fire pumps allowed approximately 300 gallons to spill onto the Lake Screen House floor. Approximately 75 gallons of fuel oil was recovered f rom the floor, 220 gallons was contained in the oil s'eparator, and from 1 to 5 gallons was determined to have been discharged to the Circulating Pump 1C forebay at the Lake Screen House. Suction for the circulating pump is off of the bottom of the foretiay. Investigation has shown '

all fuel oil spilt to the forebay was contained in the forebay. No fuel oil was discharged to the Cooling Lake proper. L CORRECTIVE ACTION:

The broken line is under repair. Station personnel were notified to clean up the spilled fuel oil f rom the Lake Screen House and oil separator. Maintenance personnel removed the fuel oil that reached the ci rculating pump forebay area.
