?ARAMETER AND PERMIT LIMIT: Total Suspended Solids, 15.0 mg/l Total Iron, 1.0 mg/l NONCOMPLIANCE, DATE, AND DURATION: Total Suspended Solids, 45.7 mg/1, 29 October 1982 52,497 gallons Total Iron, 41.3 mg/1, 29 October 1982, 52,497 gallons CAUSE OF NONCOMPLIANCE:
The normal influents to this tank contain. iron concentrations of less than 5 mg/l iron as verified by sampling on 11/11/82. The most probable cause of the high iron concentration was the addition to the tank of construction vastes from the Unit 2 condensate polishing system.
CORRECTIVE _ ACTION:
A modification has been initiated to provide the option for treatment of these tanks in the Waste Water Treatment Facility.
The modification should be implemented by February 1983.
