The wastewater plant pH was upset during this period due to Unit 2 construction activi ties. An acidic floor cleaning solution was used to prepare the floors for painting. The upset pH degraded the efficiency of flocculation and filtration.
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
A work request has been initiated to Install an Inline pH monitor at the WWTF.
Installation of this equipment, and logic to trip the equalization t:nk transfer p imps on conditions of high or low pH should prevent this from occurring i
