CA"SE E NCNCOM?tIANCE: The MUD clean sump was sampled and analyzed for pH ,

on 30MAY84. The 11.2 S.U. result indicated the sump was the source of the high pH water. The original source is unknown.

CCRRIC" VE AC ION,: The discharge was stopped. The clearwell was circulated cack to the equalization tank and neutralized. Resamples were drawn at 1630 en 01JUN84. The results indicated the clearwell pH was 9.0 S.U. and the equalization tank was 7.6 S.U. Wastewater Treatment Facility operations were then returned to nor al. .
