ILOO48151 NONCOMPLIANCE REPORT DISCHARGE NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION: 001(c) Wastewater Treatment System Effluent LARAMETER AND PERMIT LIMIT: Oil and Grease, 20 ppa daily maximum 011 and Grease, 15 ppe 30 day average NONCOMPLIANCE. DATE, AND DURATION:
82 ppe Oil and Grease, 17JUN85, unknown 34 pga 011 and Grease, 24JUN85, unknown 33 ppa 011 and Grease, 30-day average, 03JUL85, month of June CAUSE OF NONCOMPLIANCE:
A large volume of oil entered the Wastewater Treatment System and overloaded it.
The source of the oil and grease is unknown.
[ M ECTIVE ACTION:
Attempts are being made to identify the source of oil and grease inputs into the Wastewater Treatment System.
I The oil and grease was pumped out of the clarifiers and oil separator pits. The oil absorbent booms in the clearwell and effluent chamber were replaced.
Efforts are also being made to restore the polymer systems to an operable condition.
