' Corrective - action for a previous NRC violation was inadequat Specifically, on' March 28, 1989, the NRC identified three operators who had not' read the required reading book in a timely manner. This was a repetitive deficiency in that in August 1988, NRC Inspection sReport No. 424/88-33, documented violation 88-33-05 as failure to take corrective actions to preclude repetition for.this deficienc . Corrective actions for a previous commitment made in NRC Inspection Report No. 88-07 were inadequat Specifically, the licensee committed to cover the use of TS cooldown limit curve (including temperature and pressure instruments to be used) in requalification training'for licensed operators by December 16, 1988. Requalification

Corrective action for a previous NRC violation was inadequat c Specifically, on March 30, 1989, the licensee's survey of FSAR Copy l 125 identified several pages that should be deleted as well as some mi ssing . pages. Pursuant to.the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, Georgia Power Company is hereby required to submit a written statement or explanation to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN: Document Control Desk, Washington, DC 20555, with a copy to the Regional. Administrator, Region II, and a copy to the NRC Resident Inspector, Vogtle, within 30 days of the date of the letter transmitting this -

Notice. This reply should be clearly . marked as a " Reply to a Notice of Violation" and should include [for each violation]: (1) admission or denial of the vielation, (2)'the reason for the violation if admitted,' (3) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved,.(4) the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations, and (5)' the date when full compliance will be achieved. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending the response time.
