Refueling Water Storage Tank (RWST) Preoperational Test Results Evaluation (70322)

The inspector evaluated the preoperational test results obtained per test procedure 1-3BN-01 on the refueling water storage tank (RWST).

This procedure demonstrated the operation, control and interlocks of the RWST and sludge mixing / heating system. The inspector verified the final component lineup to be correct and all test data collected and recorded in a proper manner. The procedure was reviewed for conformance to Regulatory Guide 1.68 and FSAR commitments with acceptance criteria clearly specified and obtained. The Construction Acceptance Test (CAT) package for the RWST was reviewed to verify proper calibration of the level transmitters.
