The excessive total tron found on August 10, 1982, was due to the temporary hydrogen peroxide system not' operating properly.

Total tron, 6.0 mg/1, August 1, 1982, 13 hours CAUSE OF NONCOMPLIANCE:
Mechanical problems with the Radwaste evaporators resulted poor quality water being processed to this out fall. This water was known to have tr.en of poor quality prior to processing forward, but was not acted upon due to high water inventories in Radwaste. Once the water was discharged to this out fall tank, it could not be reprocessed, and must be discharged. to the cooling Pond Blowdown line.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:                            -
Operating personnel were rotified of the need to reprocess poor quality water, instead of procetting it forward. Operating personnel agreed wi th this, and will reprocess poor quality water. They are also attempting to correct the problems with the evaporators, which will alleviate the need for reprocessing.
