                                                      Gentlemen:
                                                      Enclosed is an addendum to Inspection Report No. 50-295/88004(DRSS) and
                                                      No. 50-304/88005(DRSS) transmitted by our letter dated February 10, 1988.
                                                      The addendum consists of comparisons of results of a liquid spike sent to the
                                                      Zion station and criteria for comparing analytical measurements. .A conservative
                                                      disagreement for H-3 was noted. Review of licensee and the NRC Reference
                                                      Laboratory data did not reveal the cause. This will be examined and another
                                                      sample collected during a future inspection. These comparisons will close out
                                                      Open Item No. 50-295/88004-03 and No. 50-304/88005-03.
                                                      Please attach the addendum to your copy of our inspection report.
                                                      We will gladly discuss any questions you have regarding this addendum.

Gentlemen:
