We received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) correspondence on April 2,1999 transmitting the FEMA evaluation report for the August 19,1998 Annual Medical Drill for the Zion Nuclear Powcr Station. This report evaluated the medical drill conducted in Lake County, with participation by personnel from Commonwealth Edison, the Zion Fire Department, and Victory Memorial Hospital.
No Deficiencies were identified. Two Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) were identified during the drill.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed FEMA correspondence will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
