I CEOF Drive-in Drill We activated the CEOF on February 8,1999, at 7:03 PM. Facility staffing was obtained in 59 minutes from the simulated classification time. This is within the one hour staffing time commitment contained in the referenced letter. The drill was classified as Satisfactory.
Augmentation Phone Drills In addition to the drive-in drill, augmentation phone drills were conducted on November 11,1998, December 8,1998, and January 23,1999. The November drill resulted in an estimated staffing time of less than 60 minutes and was classified as Satisfactory. The December drill was classified as Unsatisfactory due to an estimated staffing time of 111 minutes for one of the minimum staff positions. The January drill was classified as Weak due to an estimated staffing time of 67 minutes for one of the minimum staff positions. The untimely responders involved in these drills were counseled about the expectation for their prompt response to support the one hour staffing time requirement. The resporise record of these individuals was reviewed and no previous concerns were noted witn their response times.
