Dear Mr. Dyer:

Enclosed is a copy of the report for the Annual Medical Drill conducted in Lake County for the Zion Nuclear Power Station on August 19,1998. Participants included members of the Zion Fire Departrr . ' , the Victory Memorial Hospital and Commonwealth Edison.

Two Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCAs) were identified during the September 24, 1997 Annual Medical Drill. One ARCA was resolved and one ARCA remains unresolved. Two i ARCAs were identified during the August 19,1998 Annual Medical Drill. Additional information addressing the findings can be found in the report.

Copies of the report have been forwarded to the State ofIllinois, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's National Office and the Federal Emergency Management Agency's National Office.
