Revised Annual Dose Reports

Reference:

Letter from R. M. Krich (Commonwealth Edison Company) to U. S. NRC,

" Annual Dose Reports for 1998," dated April 30,1999. )O Pursuant to 10 CFR 20.2206(c), the Braidwood Station, Byron Station, Dresden Nuclear Power Station, LaSalle County Station, Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, and Zion Nuclear Power Station Annual Dose Reports for 1998 were submitted on April 30,1999. 3 These Annual Dose Reports provided the results of individual radiation monitoring carried out by Commonwealth Edison (Comed) Company representatives for each individual for ghg whom radiation monitoring was provided during 1998. Subsequent to the generation of the Annual Dose Reports for 1998, we identified a computer error that resulted in excluding neutron dose from the deep-dose equivalent and total effective dose equivalent values. The reference letter stated that revised Annual Dose Reports for 1994 through 1998, which include neutron dose, were expected to be submitted by June 30,1999.

U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Q Page 2 I Enclosed are the revised Annual Dose Reports for 1994 through 1998 for individuals who received neutron dose that was not previously included in the reported total effective dose l equivalent values. These reports contain all data for each station for each year, in  !

addition for Dresden Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 personnel, we are providing corrected i 1998 Annual Dose Reports to reflect that individuals were monitored for internal dose and j no dose was detected. The previously submitted 1998 Annual Dose Reports for these l individuals incorrectly stated they were not monitored for internal dose.  !

( prepared following the guidance provic d in Regulatory Gu;de 8.7, " Instructions for

' j Recording and Reporting Occupational Radiation Exposure Data," Revision 1, dated June g 1992. These diskettes were generated on June 23,1999, and contain the revised Annual i Dose Reports for each of the six nuclear stations for each of the following years: 1994, )

1995,1996,1997, and 1998. Each station's data is preceded by a header record, which provides the information necessary to identify the source of the data. j The revised Annual Dose Report data, provided on the 3.5 inch computer diskettes, were compressed using the computer program WinZip. The diskettes were created on an j international Business Machines (IBM) personal computer. The character set is ASCil l format. As specified in 10 CFR 20.2206(c), the five 3.5 inch computer diskettes are being  !
