This confirms our plans as discussed on June 26, 1989, between Mr.'T. Joyce, Zion Station Manager and Mr. W. D. Shafer of this office regarding the NRC meeting with you'and other representatives.of Commonwealth Edison Company on July 7, 1989, at 9:00 a.m. (CST) at the NRC Region III Office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
This meetingzis the first of a series of periodic senior management meetings to discuss the current status of improvement programs implemented at the Zion Nuclear Station. As I am sure you are aware, Mr. ~9. D. Shafer of my staff plans.to meet monthly with. members of your site and corporate staff, as appropriate, to monitor the progress of these programs and to enhance conununications between our respective organizations.
