- TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-250 AND 50-251 On May 21, 2014, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met with members of the public concerning the annual assessment of Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station, Units 3 and 4. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities to discuss the annual assessment of Turkey Point with the public for the period of January 1, 2013, through December 31, 2013. Enclosed is a list of attendees and the Turkey Point annual assessment meeting presentation.

NRC Annual Assessment Summary Turkey Point Unit 3 and Unit 4 Florida Power & Light operated the plant safely and in a manner that preserved the public health and safety and protected the environment.
Turkey Point Unit 3 was in the Regulatory Response Column of the Action Matrix for the entire 2013 assessment period.
Turkey Point Unit 4 was in the Licensee Response Column of the Action Matrix for the entire 2013 assessment period.

NRC Annual Assessment Summary Turkey Point Unit 3 Performance Indicators Turkey Point Unit 3 was in the Regulatory Response Column for all 4 quarters of the 2013 assessment period due to reactor trips that caused the Unplanned Scrams per 7,000 Critical Hours indicator to be in the White performance band.
