OF MAY 24, 2022, CLOSED MEETING WITH FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT TO DISCUSS PLANNED LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST RELATED TO REACTOR COOLANT PUMP SEAL REPLACEMENTS (EPID L-2021-LRM-0009)
On May 24, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed meeting with representatives of Florida Power and Light Company (FPL or the licensee) to discuss a planned license amendment request (LAR) related to reactor coolant pump seals for the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 3 and 4. The meeting was closed to the public due to discussion of proprietary information. The meeting notice and agenda for this meeting, dated May 11, 2022, are available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML22131A254. A list of attendees is enclosed. No regulatory decisions were made at this meeting.
