s This is to confirm our intent to conduct a survey of your emergency data system capabilities for possible use as part of an Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). As I discussed with you a team of two individuals (Michael Hawkins, 1

NRC and Floyd McManus, COMEX) will be arriving at your facility at 9:00 a.m. on i

September 23, 1986 to conduct the survey.

If acceptable we will start with a

'l brief introductory meeting followed by the survey of your available data and 1

computer characteristics.

For your information, I am enclosing a list of the individuals we expect we need to speak with a copy of the ERDS survey checklist l

to be used during the visit.
