This is to confirm our intent to conduct a survey of your emergency data system 1
capabilities for possible use as part of an Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). As I discussed with you a team of two individuals (John Hickman, NRC and Ken Loposer, COMEX) will be arriving at your facility at 9:00 a.m. on September 4, 1986 to conduct the survey.
If acceptable we will start with a.
brief introductory meeting followed by the survey of your available data and l4 computer characteristics.
For your information, I am enclosing a list of the d
individuals we expect we need to speak with a copy of the ERDS survey checklist Lj to be used during the visit.
Please realize that not all items on the check-
. list to be used during the visit.
It deals with a broad spectrum of systems, lj because it was intended to cover all licensed nuclear reactors.
