This letter is in response to Reference 1 and refers to the corrective actions taken to bring ;
LACBWR into compliance with the maintenance rule. We have developed a program that we Ig believe meets the NRC interpretation of the maintenance rule. This program contains key aspects of the maintenance mie (10 CFR 50.65), including those specifically necessary to adequately identify structures, systems, and components (SSCs) to be monitored under the rule and to adequately establish goals and implement monitoring for those SSCs. ,
