ATWS RULE (10 CFR 50.62) - BYRON /BRAIDWOOD By letter dated August 16, 1989, you identified four revisions'to the ATWS mitigation system that we approved. These revisions'are the result of human factors engineering reviews that you had not finished when we wrote our Safety Evaluations.
We have ' reviewed the revisions proposed in your August 16, 1989 letter and find them acceptable. With these revisions, we still conclude that the ATWS design you have proposed is in compliance with the ATWS Rule requirements of 10 CFR 50.62, paragraph (c)(1).
