Request for Site Visits at Beaver Valley Units 1 and ?

We are requesting your cooperation to arrange for the following site visits.

The first two visits are part of licensing activities currently in progress.

(1) Date: May 6-8, 1986 Site: Unit 2

Purpose:

To resolve confirmatory issues in Chapter 7 of the October 1985 SER.

Preliminary arrangements have been made with Roger Martin and Ron Fedin of your staff; details will be worked out.

(2) Date: May 6, 1986 Site: 'Jnits 1 and 2

Purpose:

Site visit for new Project Director, Lester Rubenstein NRC Personnel: Lester Rubenstein, Peter Tam DLC Personnel: Preliminary arrangements have been made with Steve Sovick (Unit 1) and Roger Martin (Unit 2); details will be worked out.

(3) Date: During refueling outage Site: Unit 1

Purpose:

Observation of surveillance tests on reactor trip system and ESF system. This is part of the training program for a reviewer and would involve minimal DLC resources.

We request that a security unescorted access badge be issued to him for this visit. We have arranged to have the senior resident inspector, Mr. W. Troskoski, escort him when necessary.
