This letter documents additional corrective measures which have been taken to resolve the conceres identified in reference (ai regarding timely processing of Byron Nanconformance Reports (NCR).
The NRC concern regarding resolution of NCR F-529 now centers on the continuation o' related work during the period of reselution of the nonconformance. We recognize the importance of mdkang a Considered decisiof. regarding continuation of r.afety-related work that is the subject of an NCR. To ensure that such considered decisions are made, the NCR form has bec.n revised to provide documentation of this decision and the justification if work is allowed to continue.
To the best of my knowledge and belief, the statements conteined herein are true and correct. In some respects these statements are dot based upon my personal knowledge but upon information furnished by other Commonwealth Edison employees and contractors.
