l Generic Letter 89-21 [ reference (a)] was issued as a part of the NRC's continuing effort to validate staff understanding regarding 1,
implementation of unresolved safety issues (USIs). An important aspect of this effort is to ensure that the licensee and the NRC agree on the status of UST resolution implementation at each facility. Reference (b) provided

Conanonwealth Edison (Edison's) response to Generic Letter 89-21, for the Byron L
and Braidwood Stations.. Reference (c) provided a. revised page 2 for Byron Station that corrected the implementation date for USI A-24 for Unit 1.
' Enclosed is a revised page 2 for Braidwood Station that moves the applicable SER reference'from USI A-10 to USI A-12 where it had been intended
