Steam Generator Inservice Inspection Summary Report in accordance with item b, of Technical Specification 5.6.9, " Steam Generator (SG) Tube inspection Reports," we are submitting the results for the E tube inspections performed during the Byron Station, Unit 1, Cycle 9 refueling outage (i.e., B1R09) within 12 months following completion of the inspections. The report of the results includes the number and extent of the SG tubes inspected. SG tube eddy current inspections were performed in April 1999 at Byron Station, Unit 1. During the inspections, no indication of SG tube degradation or imperfection was found. As a result, no SG tubes were plugged or repaired. This report is also being submitted in accordance with Article IWA-6000,
" Records and Reports," and Appendix IV, " Eddy Current Examination of Nonferromagnetic Steam Generator Heat Exchanger Tubing," of Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,1969 Edition, and Section IV of NEl 97-06, " Steam Generator Program Guidelines."
