By letter dated October 2,1987, you applied for an amendment to the Wolf Creek Generating Station Unit 1 Operating License No. NPF-42. The. proposed change would have modified the facility Technical Specifi'.ations pertaining to a revised reactor polant' system total flow rate (Technical Specification 3.2.3).

Subsequently, by letu r dated August 10, 1989, you withdrew.the amendment request.

This letter closes the staff's activities on this issue.
