WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR RELIEF CONCERNING PROCUREMENT OF ASME i-3 SECTION III MATERIALS (TAC NO. 76675)
Your letter of April 17, 1990, (WM 90-0062) requested relief from ASME Section XI IWA-7210 and the resulting administrative and quality requirements of Section III_NA-3700/NCA-3800, which preclude Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating
' Corporation (WCNOC) from-qualifying and procuring materials from material manufacturers and material suppliers who do not hold a Quality Systems Certificate.
However, your subsequent letter of September 27, 1990, (ET 90-0161) withdrew this request citing WCNOC's decision to pursue'an ASME Section III NPT Certificate of Authorization.
