The Reference transmitted an application for amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-42 for the Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS) to revise the Allowable Value for current Technical Specification Table 3.3-4, Functional .

Unit 8.a., 4 kV Undervoltage - Loss of Voltage and Functional Unit 8.b., 4 kV  !

Undervoltage - Grid Degraded Voltage. As discussed with the NRC Project Manager on August 11, 1999, this letter provides a revised Technical Specification mark-up to delete the inequality signs from the Trip Setpoints in Surveillance Requirement (SR) 3.3.5.3. Additionally, it was requested that the Technical Specification Bases be revised to reflect information on the calibration tolerance band. The proposed Bases change is provided for information- .

1 Attachrent I provides the revised Technical Specification page. Attachment II provides the proposed changes to the Bases. Attachment III provides a listing of commitments made in this submittal. The Safety Evaluation and No Significant Hazards Consideration Determination provided in the reference are still applicable. 1 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this letter, with attachments, is being provided to the designated Kansas State Official.
