} 1.0 PURPOSE To provide methods to be used and the accept / reject criteria to be applied when performing document review of conduit.

2.0 APPLICABILITY

3.1 Description Memorandum QA/QC-RT-271, dated August 27, 1985, delineating documentation used in the development of this procedure including specific sources for attributes and exclusions.

4 5.0 INSTRUCTION Using.the information in Reference 3.2 and below, perform documentation reviews of the sample items in tids population and document the results of the documentation review on the checklist (Attachment 6.1).

The inspection of conduit fabrication activities was done on a surveillance basis, and therefore, an 1R covering the attributes listed below may not exist.

5.1 Class IE Conduit Raceway Inspection

a. Procedure If an IR for conduit fabrication is found, verify by document review that the following non-recreatable attributes for Class lE Conduit Fabrication have been inspected. If the IR is not found, record "N/A" on the Checklist.

Conduit ends free of burrs and sharp edges.

%J The above instructions may be covered as either a heading on the IR or as an individual attribute.

For multiple inspections of one conduit, the latest fabrication IR is te be reviewed. If the IR is only a partial inspection, such as reinspection of construction rework, then the next latest IR is to be reviewed to determine acceptability of the subject attribute.

b. Inspector Certification Verify by review of the inspector's certification file that each person signing as a QC inspector on the Inspection Report used in 5.1.a above was certified to the procedure used, at the time of the signature.

Record the IR number and procedure used.

NOTE: If this attribute is rejected, determine if the person that signed as a QC inspector was ever certified to the procedure used. If the inspector was ever certified to the procedure, record the time period of p)
