This is in response to your letter 696-8047,' dated December 2, 1985, in which you requested an exemption from the 60-day requirement for submitting applications for special nuclear material access authorization as required by 10 C Q 11.15(a)(1).
We have determined that granting your request will not adversely (affe'ct the common defense and security nor the public health and safety, and is 3
otherwise in the publi: interest.
Accordingly, we are hereby amend!ng Safeguards Amendment SG-1 to your License No. SNM-696 by adding License' Condition 9.2, effective immediately, to read as follows:
- 9. 2 Notwithstanding the requirement!of 10 CFR 11.15(a)(1) to submit applications on or before Janaua.ry (6,1936, for special nuclear material access autnorization for affected individuals employed on October 28,1985,4the licensee shal.1 follow the schedule of submittals as outline <i in his lettir (ref. 696-8047) dated December 2, 1985.
