This is-to inform you that we have completed the documentation of our review of your application dated July 6,1995, and supplements dated November 20 and 30, and December 18, 1995, related to the General Atomics Hot Cell Facility I
Decommissioning Plan.

We had previously approved your application on May 1,1996, and amended your license to include that approval. However, we had not completed the documentation process at that time but approved your hot cell decommissioning i
plan with the understanding that additional information may have been necessary.
Enclosed is a copy of the Safety Evaluation Report which completes the l
documentation of the review and approval of the Hot Cell Decommissioning Plan.
