NRC INSPECTION REPORT 70 734/97 04
Dear Mr. Edwards:
An NRC inspection was conducted July 28 through August 1,1997, at your General Atomics facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.
The inspection, included examination of activities conducted at the Terry Pines Mesa and Sorrento Valley facilities. The inspector noted that your staff had implemented effective programs in the areas of decommissioning, operations, emergency preparedness, and maintenance and surveillance testing as they relate to your possession only license.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
